What is the EMFACE TMJ protocol?
EMFACE Functional TMJ is a separate, clinically assessed treatment pathway for jaw function and associated muscular discomfort. It combines synchronised radiofrequency and HIFES™ muscle stimulation. We first assess your symptoms and history, confirm whether the treatment is appropriate, then agree a plan and review your response. It is not automatically part of the six-session cosmetic course, and results vary.
How does EXION complement EMFACE?
EMFACE combines radiofrequency and facial muscle stimulation to support skin quality and muscle tone. The needle-free EXION Face applicator combines radiofrequency and targeted ultrasound to focus on skin quality, including fine lines, elasticity and hydration. A combined plan may address different aspects of your goals; your practitioner decides the areas, sequence and spacing after assessment.
What are your advanced protocols?
Our advanced treatment plans consider the face as a whole: skin quality, facial support and the areas that matter to you. EMFACE, EXION Face and Submentum treatment may be selected individually or combined when suitable. Your practitioner follows the relevant manufacturer guidance and explains the plan, expected benefits and total price before treatment.
What does the offer from £199 include?
The starting price applies to selected treatment offers. Register to find out which treatment and area qualify and receive your personalised quote. Your treatment areas, number of sessions and total cost are confirmed before booking. A full course or combined EMFACE + EXION plan is not automatically included for £199.
What does EMFACE feel like?
You will feel warmth and repeated facial muscle contractions. The sensation is unusual at first and the intensity is adjusted during treatment. Tell your practitioner immediately if you feel pain or burning.
How many sessions will I need?
Our featured EMFACE course includes six sessions. Sessions typically last 20 minutes; your practitioner confirms suitable areas and the spacing of appointments after consultation. A Submentum treatment may form a separate part of your plan.
When should I expect to see a change?
Changes develop gradually after a course, rather than being an instant transformation. Your practitioner will discuss realistic expectations and review your progress. Individual results and how long they last vary; maintenance may be recommended.
Is there any downtime?
Most people return to their normal routine after treatment. Temporary redness or discomfort can occur. As with energy-based treatments, there are risks including skin irritation and burns, which your practitioner will explain before you decide.
Is EMFACE suitable for everyone?
No. A consultation and medical screening are needed first. Tell us about pregnancy, electronic or metal implants, medical conditions, medicines and recent aesthetic or dental treatments. Suitability is assessed against the relevant manufacturer instructions; previous treatment alone does not establish suitability.
Can I combine it with other treatments?
Your practitioner can discuss a personalised plan and appropriate timing if you have had, or are considering, injectables or other aesthetic treatments. Please share your treatment history at the consultation.
